Pakistan Independence Day

The Indo-Pak subcontinent remained under British rule from 1849 to 1947.People in subcontinent did not approve British rule in united India.A revolt occurred in 1857 which led to the road of independence. Before British there was Muslims rule so after this war Muslims has to suffer, although Hindus were also part of it but right at last they left and betrayed Muslims. Then leaders like Sir Syed Ahmed Khan worked very hard for the advancement of Muslims in Politics, because it was the only way to get their rights.Congress was formed in 1885 which became the biggest political party in subcontinent.Important Muslim leaders like Mohammad Ali Jinnah were first the member of this and worked Hindu Muslim unity.
In 1930 Allama Iqbal presented his view of separate state for Muslims,he gave the geographical view that where it should be made. The name of Pakistan was given by Rehmat Ali and it means pure land.
Pakistan Independence Day is celebrated on 14th August,in which people celebrate the independence from British rule.It happened in the year 1947.
The region which is now Pakistan was once the part of India. The idea of creating this new state took shape due to the events that took place during British rule.Political history of Pakistan began in 1906 with the formation of Muslim League.Soon the league started to speak for the establishment of a separate Muslim nation.Mohammad Ali Jinnah the founder of Pakistan greatly supported the two nation theory which demanded the division of India into two countries on the bass of religions.
In 1940 March Pakistan resolution took place in which was decided that now Muslims will only work for separate country.
And then after seven years Pakistan came into existence with East and West Pakistan.Later in 1971 East Pakistan parted and became Bangladesh.
At the end a quote by the leader.
