62 years have been past till independence but sad that this country is still in the list of under developing countries.
Most of the population of Pakistan lives in rural areas where even the basic needs of life are hard to find.Here gap between the poor and rich is
increasing day by day.
Major problems which Pakistan is facing today are the following:
1.Poverty
Government has conducted different surveys in country and got the outcome that Pakistan is facing poverty on a big level.
It is found that almost 40 percent of the population lives below the poverty line where they hardly find anything to eat and to wear.Unemployment is the main cause here which is increasing the poverty level.People are hardly surviving,government should really pay attention to this problem.
Message to government.
2.Illiteracy.
Pakistan has only 50 percent literacy rate.People here are unaware of the technical education and new technology.People are so poor that they can't afford the fees of private education and they don't like to send their children to govt. schools because the conditions of government schools is so bad.Children who should be in schools are involved in child labor due to their problems.
This illiteracy is the main reason why the new technologies in Pakistan are moving at snail's speed.Some people don't send their daughters to school because they are afraid of what might happen if a girl learn to read and write.Our budget also has just little amount to spend on education.
3.Energy Crisis.
Pakistan is facing a major problem of electricity shortage.Pakistan is suffering this problem from the last six years.
In the recent years terrorism in Pakistan has become a major occurrence.The whole world thinks Pakistan as a land of terrorists. Suicide bombs are becoming very common incident in this country.

Due to the shortage of electricity many industries has closed their factories in Pakistan and the unfortunately Pakistan has to increase it's import and export decreases. Electericity shortage is a big problem which stops this country to rise and develop.
But the government of PML-N is working very hard to finish this energy crisis,a number of power projects have been introduced.
4. Terrorism.
In the recent years terrorism in Pakistan has become a major occurrence.The whole world thinks Pakistan as a land of terrorists. Suicide bombs are becoming very common incident in this country.
Many people have lost their lives in these attacks for no reasons. Terrorism has caused much destruction here.People here are always scared,they can't live their lives freely.Due to terrorism our tourism industry has destroyed,no one likes to come here because of the security reasons.
To finish this problem should be the first responsibility of government and the new government has already launched an operation Zarb-e-Azab by army which is finishing terrorism from the whole country.Soon Pakistan will be free of terrorism.
5. Corruption
Some of the politicians here are corrupt and are not honest and sincere with the country.They are just protecting their own interests.Their whole property and family are in abroad,they have nothing to do for this country.One reason of corruption is the international interference like America and India.They are always looking for a chance to insult and plot against this country.It's police department is also very corrupt.
But according to the Annual Public Pulse Report 2014 this new government of PML-N is not that corrupt like previous ones,it says that this time more than 36 percent control is achieved over corruption and is much less than before. PML-N is really working hard for betterment of Pakistan.
No doubt that one day Pakistan will be one of developed countries.
